An Idea:

Tech-Glass was formed in February 1999. It appeared that there was a place, a niche, in the biomedical research field for a glass company to manufacture replacement plates and cassettes for electrophoresis systems. We would focus specifically on flat glass fabrication. At the time, some laboratories were having problems with product delays, quality and pricing. We felt we could fill the void by returning quotes within 24 hours, manufacture each order to the customers specifications, and guarantee delivery within 5* business days. We would try to expand our business one customer at a time without sacrificing our commitment to service and quality.

The Company today:

Tech-Glass is dedicated solely to providing fabricated glass to the biomedical research industry. One year after we began, we designed and initiated a website in the spring of 2000. E-commerce is a huge leap for a company in the flat glass industry. We will continue to re-invest in state of the art equipment to provide the highest degree of quality.

Glass plates and gel cassettes have gone through a total transformation in the past few years. They have decreased in size, thickness, and manufacturing process. We will remain on the edge of technology. Glass has been with us since the dawn of man. How can we cut it for you?
